What a lovely flower arrangement! We made flower arrangements in the baskets. This is a really good way to make arrangements for gifts. It’s easy to carry and also looks nice and fancy.Did you know that a flower arrangement in a basket is from Chinese custom? It was given to perform a religious service for ancestors. And it’s very important to have bow on a basket. The bow is symbolic of a butterfly. In this class, our students also learned how to make bow. It’s hard to make it at the first time because you need to hold ribbon between your fingers while you make shape.
The flowers we used are roses, stocks, parrot tulips, phlox, wax flowers and lemon leaves.
